As World Animal day was on October 4th, each child in 5th class was given either a native Irish or other animal to research and present to the class. We learnt so much about all the different types of creatures, their habitats, what they like to eat, and what makes them unique.
Everybody’s presentations were excellent and really set us up to WOW Jim the Zookeeper on our upcoming trip to Dublin Zoo.
I learnt that not all dolphins have dorsal fins, and that giraffes have four stomachs!! What interesting fact did you learn from someone else?
